PROPANE INSTALLATION

When most people think of the gas used for home appliances or heating, they think of natural gas. However, propane gas is another great option. Propane gas, which is a byproduct of petroleum refining and natural gas processing, can be an affordable alternative to electricity. Propane is also more reliable than electricity, because even when the power goes out, most propane appliances will continue to operate. Furthermore, it is environmentally friendly because it cannot be dissolved in water so it poses less risk to soil and ground water contamination than natural gas.

Before Propane Installation

Before you’re ready to have propane installed in your home, there are a few things you should consider:

  • If you have existing natural gas lines, conversion kits and some replacement may be necessary.
  • Tanks come in different sizes, and the amount you use will vary. Often, people order a larger tank than necessary to help reduce the number of times each year the tank needs to be filled.
  • There are two options for tank placement: aboveground and underground. Each option has benefits and drawbacks, so be sure to consider carefully. When in doubt, one of our certified service technicians can help you determine the best option.

“I’ve used this company 3 times now, for 3 different problems and was completely satisfied each time, which is really something to say around here. Today they installed a kitchen faucet and replaced an outside hose bib which seemed to be frozen and we couldn’t get it to move. They are highly professional, answering their phones promptly and setting up an agreeable time. They were ON TIME each of the 3 times, worked efficiently, covered their shoes with protective booties, and let me charge it with Visa. The receipt with all the services performed (including any pictures that were taken) was then sent to my email. Great company.” –-Kathy D.
